Job Description:

Position Overview:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, and compliance. This role involves managing cost accounting, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, risk management, tax clearance, and audit documentation. The Finance Manager will also play a key role in developing financial policies, streamlining processes, and ensuring compliance with donor regulations. Additionally, the Finance Manager will provide training to the finance team and work on enhancing financial management systems to improve efficiency and accountability.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, accounting, or finance, with proficiency in QuickBooks and experience in international finance.
  • Proven leadership experience in finance, with a successful track record of managing diverse teams.
  • Extensive expertise in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring donor compliance.
  • Strong experience in training finance staff and implementing robust financial management practices.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Accounting / Quick Books
  • Excellent knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Local Languages).
  • Excellent integrity and character.
  • Excellent facilitation/presentation and report writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with others.
  • Ability to work within multicultural, multinational working teams and work under pressure conditions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, specifically in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
